Renovated and reopened in 2011 as an 18 hole layout, the Lidder Valley Golf Course in Pahalgam, a 3 hour drive from Srinagar, completes a golfing troika in the Himalayan state of Kashmir. Visiting golfers have been left spellbound by the spectacular beauty of the course surrounded by alpine vegetation in a backdrop of the snowcapped Himalayas. While the long yardage is not a factor in the rarified environment, accuracy is critical to score well on this hilly course, which demands reasonable fitness levels to walk it. Buggies are few at the Lidder Valley golf club and need to be booked in advance!

Day 1
SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM
On arrival at Srinagar, drive to Pahalgam (approx. 90kms / 2.5hrs).

Day 2
PAHALGAM
After breakfast leave for Lidder Valley Golf Course.

Proceed for half day city tour visiting covering Mughal Gardens, built by Emperor Shahajehan you will visit the Shalimar Gardens, Nishat bagh & the Chashmashahi Gardens, known for its fountains and roses.Later proceed to Sonmarg. Drive to Sonamarg through the Sindh Valley which presents yet another spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m, Sonamarg ('The meadow of gold') has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky.

Day 4
SRINAGAR
After breakfast leave for Royal Springs Golf Course.
Royal Springs Golf Course: The most scenic Golf course in a natural environnment created against the dramatic backdrop of zabarvan mountains at chashma shahi, the Royal Springs.These springs were the source of soft sweet water, prized by the mughal emperor Jehangir, around which he built exquisite walled garden-the chashma shahi. The legendary garden overlooks the Golf course which contains four of the Royal springs. Golf at Royal springs, srinagar is a truly transcending experience for the golfer and nature lover alike.
